Detalles de la pieza / Artwork Details:

Cerámica de arcilla roja. Obtienen su color del óxido de hierro en la arcilla lo que le da su color característico tras la cocción. Son muy porosas y su color puede variar de amarillo paja a rojo intenso, dependiendo del óxido de hierro. Es una pasta mas económica por lo que fue mas utilizada durante la Baja Epoca.

Este simboliza el Ojo de Horus, concretamente atribuyendo al portador la capacidad regenerativa de la salud en el Más Allá.

Red clay pottery. Its color comes from the iron oxide in the clay, which gives it its characteristic hue after firing. It is very porous, and its color can vary from straw yellow to deep red, depending on the iron oxide content. It is a more economical clay, which is why it was more commonly used during the Late Period.

This amulet symbolizes the Eye of Horus, specifically attributing to the wearer the regenerative capacity of health in the Afterlife.
